About
The Public Health Notebook started as an online health blog that advocates for health equity by leading and facilitating conversations for the purpose of providing education, advocacy, and advice through monthly blog posts pertaining to black health. As of December 2021, we are now a 501c3 non-profit named The Public Health Notebook.

At the Public Health Notebook, we believe in equity, whereby everyone can access quality health services and initiatives based on the recipients' needs. Our love for public health encourages us to translate research for the general public (i.e. public health professionals, community organizations, and policymakers) in their ongoing health equity efforts.

Our evidence-based strategies both in public health and experience in the health sector are:
To train and educate communities about healthy living and preventive measures such as tobacco-free living, prevention of drug abuse, excessive alcohol use, healthy eating, active living, and mental and emotional well-being.
Our life-changing begins in Cleveland but extends nationally.

Together with The Public Health Notebook and Friends, plans to refocus, reinforce, and repeat the message that health disparities exist and that health equity benefits and builds everyone.
