Hello 2024.

2023 have brought a lot of changes to my personal and professional life, which sometimes overlaps. I want to use this blog as a reintroduction to who I am and what The Public Health Notebook represents to me.

I'm Regime, the founder and primary blogger behind The Public Health Notebook. My aim is to utilize this platform as a connector, forging links with fellow social entrepreneurs, remarkable Black women, and organizations that align with The Public Health Notebook mission.

2024 marks the official third year of TPHN's nonprofit status. Initially rooted in blogging, The Public Health Notebook evolved to actively advocate for and contribute to enhancing health equity.

Last year, a significant milestone was achieved as I secured my first grant from First Year Cleveland, an incredible local organization dedicated to combating infant and maternal mortality. With this grant, I organized six yoga sessions hosted at the MLK branch of the Cleveland Public Library.

In March of 2023, I embarked on a new professional journey, joining the Government and Community Relations department at University Hospitals working on community benefit initiatives. Community benefit is about giving back and supporting the communities we serve. I find immense fulfillment in this work, feeling like a true connector within my role at UH.

In 2024, my focus is on delivering timely and pertinent information on topics that captivate and benefit my community. I aim to cover relevant subjects and of current interest to ensure my readers stay informed and engaged.

If you're a realtor, financial advisor, nutritionist/chef, or any kind of social entrepreneur interested in collaborating or sharing insights, I'd love to connect!

If you'd like to connect, feel free to add me on LinkedIn (I'm aiming for 500+ connections, a bit of a challenge!) or simply drop me a DM. Let's build meaningful connections in our community.
